I am the bullet that hits an unsuspecting victim.
I am the knife that pierces organs and arteries.
I am the rogue wave that pulls you under.
I am the peice of food that gets stuck in your throat.
I am the hospital test results no one wants to hear.
I am the car pile up that leaves no one unharmed.
I am the earthquake that brings buildings down upon people.
I am the plane crash that will devastate hundreds- even thousands- of people.
I am the storm that smashes sailors and their ships onto rocks.
I am the fire that destroys buildings and lives.

I am the fall that breaks someone's neck.
I am the avalanche that buries people alive...never to be rescued.
I am the ledge people throw themselves off of.
I am the terminal illness that kills you slowly.
I am the heart attack that you never recover from.
I am the coma that makes people pull the plug.

I am the reason people plan funerals.
I am the thing that creates orphans and widows.
I am the thing people fear.

I am Death.
And I don't care who you are.
I will still come for you.
